[ARSCLIST] ARSC Conference 2009 -- Final Reminder
The Outreach Committee of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections
(ARSC) posts the following message. If you have any questions, please click

--- 2009 ARSC CONFERENCE: EARLY-REGISTRATION DEADLINE APPROACHING ---
The 43rd annual conference of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections
will be held at The Liaison Capitol Hill, at 415 New Jersey Avenue NW,
Washington, DC, May 27-30.
May 4 is the deadline for discounted rates:
1. Full Conference Registration -- $145 for ARSC members, $170 for
non-members, and $85 for students.
2. Single-Day Registration -- $50 per day, members; $58 per day,
non-members; $30 per day, students.
To qualify for the discounted prices, your registration must be postmarked
by May 4. After that date, registration fees increase.

HOTEL AND NAVCC TOUR UPDATE
Our room block is officially sold out. For now, the Liaison is willing to
keep adding rooms at the conference rate. This offer may hold until our May
5 hotel registration deadline, but there is no guarantee. Please book your
room as soon as possible.

The National Audio-Visual Conservation Center tour is limited to 100
registered conference attendees. As of April 20, 85 people have registered
for the tour. There is still some space, so if you wish to participate in
this full-day, in-depth tour, now is the time to register.
