WRT to backup, I am so with the moderator on this one.
Gentlemen, unless your files exceed 650 MB in length, backup = CD-R. For
less than the cost of a removable hard drive, you can get a 12X (1.8 MB/s)
speed CD-R recorder and the software to drive it. Media is about a buck a
disc. No hassles with playback compatibility. And CD-ROM drives will be
around long after removable hard drives compatible with your cartridge
format are history.
