For those of you in the New York metropolitan area, I hope you will
join us at the next Barbara Goldsmith Preservation Lecture on
December 3rd, 1997 at 3:30 p.m. in the Fales Library (located on the
3rd floor of NYU's Bobst Library).
Don Kelsey, Library Buildings Facilitator, University of Minnesota
Libraries, will deliver the lecture entitled "Understanding Your
Building and Building Bridges."
Mr. Kelsey specializes in facilities planning for libraries and is
the former preservation librarian at the University of Minnesota
Libraries. He has broad knowledge of HVAC systems and understands
the environmental requirements of library and archives materials.
Mr. Kelsey also has many years of experience working with a wide
range of buildings facilities staff, both in his institution and
others, and will share with us his insights into making that
relationship productive and successful.
Please RSVP to Paula DeStefano at 212/998-2563, or
