We purchased a board sheer from Gane Brothers. They have numerous
locations, but the one nearest you is in Atlanta, GA at telephone number
(404)691-4050. There are also some firms in Newark, NJ which
specialize in selling the refurbished equipment from the printing trade
which has been centered there for about a century. I believe the largest
one is called Earnest Schaeffer, Inc., but I may be spelling it wrong.
Check on-line or in the yellow pages. Good luck.

Tulane is looking to purchase a refurbished board shears. I have been
told that Jacques cutters from the 1930's to the 1950's, if they are
refurbished correctly, are pretty good. Is this your experience?
If you have one, where do you purchase it? What did you pay
for it? What size did you get? Also, please let me know if you have
heard of anyone producing new shears today that are of a decent
quality.
Any and all help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
