Hi Karen.  My name is Ken and I found your address on a web search. 
My
reason for contacting you is that I have some old cassette tapes
recorded by
my grandfather that I am afraid are degrading in quality.  I am
looking for
a way to convert these to CD and possibly have the quality enhanced.

I have no idea where to go for such services and am wondering if you
have
any contacts that may be able to help.
