****BEATING THE CRITTER JITTERS: INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT***
This workshop will be held Tuesday, October 26 at the
University of South Florida, Tampa, FL from 9 AM - 4 PM.
This full-day session explains and assesses the available
strategies for preventing and combating pest problems.
Participants will learn to identify common pests, recognize
the damage various pests cause to library and archival
materials, and develop strategies for implementing an
integrated pest management program of monitoring and control.
The instructor is Dr. Michael Trinkley, Director, Chicora
Foundation.
Cost is $85 for SOLINET members ($75 early bird, $110 late
registration); $125 Non-SOLINET & FEDLINK ($115 early bird,
$150 late registration). Any institution within Florida
qualifies for the member rate. Members of the Tampa Bay
Library Consortium may use their training vouchers by listing
TBLC's OCLC symbol.
