The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) and
Northwestern State University seek a Ph.D. analytical chemist to fill a
joint faculty position for a one year appointment starting July 1, 2000.
The incumbent will teach half time at the University and will perform
research duties at NCPTT. Teaching responsibilities include 9 contact hours
in the Fall and 6 contact hours in the Spring on the topics of general or
analytical chemistry. Half time research within NCPTT will focus on the
effects of consolidation on the deposition of sulfur dioxide to treated
