Librarian, Preservation Services: Illinois State University's Milner Library
offers a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. Duties: Coordinates
the library's preservation program including development and organization of
materials conservation; binding; processing; preservation planning; disaster
preparedness and recovery; digitization; supervises six staff. Required
qualifications: ALA accredited MLS by May 15, 2001; knowledge, experience
and/or training in the fields of preservation and conservation; training or
experience with digitization; service orientation; ability to function
independently and collegially; excellent interpersonal, written, and oral
communication skills; ability to manage diverse assignments in a rapidly
changing organization. Salary: $2,750 per month; excellent benefits.
