[PADG:1430] PTPL meeting

"Library/Vendor Partnerships for 21st Century Libraries" is the theme of 
the 77th annual meeting of the  Potomac Technical Processing Librarians 
(PTPL) to be held in Richmond, Virginia on October 5, 2001.

Area librarians in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia are 
invited to attend the day-long event which includes invited speakers from 
the library and vendor communities and tours of the acclaimed Library of 
Virginia.

PTPL is the regional affiliate of the Association for Library Collections 
and Technical Services (ALCTS),  division of the American Library 
Association (ALA).  The Library of Virginia is co-sponsoring the meeting.
