I am taking the liberty of forwarding your inquiry to the Preservation
Administrators' Discussion Group, in hopes that someone on that list
knows of a currently produced edge copier.
I have done some checking and do not find any indication of
availability after about 1998 ... though a number of library websites
indicate owning such copiers. And a search for one of those mentioned
in a 1998 Cons DistList post shows that they are for sale, used, over
the web.

I'm searching for some vendor contact information. A museum in our area
wishes to purchase a photocopier that needs a slanted edge for book
photocopying. They have some rare items that they are afraid will be
damaged if they use a standard copy machine. I've looked on the internet
and in some of the catalogs we have here, but I couldn't pinpoint a
current vendor. I have seen them at ALA conventions so I know they
exist. Thank you for any assistance you can give me.
