[PADG:1251] Re: Ballpoint ink on microfilm
Thank you so much for your help. For those of you who asked for more detail,
the film is polyester, a pos and the ink is on the film. I think probably
one of our aspiring student artist doodled on the film. Got to love 'em.
Thanks everyone. Joan

The microphotographer in our library recommends using either alcohol or a
film cleaner (Kodak is one brand) and a cotton ball.
If you have any questions, you may contact Nathan Matthews at 303-236-0591

Hope this helps.

Can anyone on PADG tell me how to remove ballpoint ink from microfilm? I
have a positive copy with several frames disfigured with ink. Joan
