The New York State Library is planning on a needs assessment of its entire collection.  This will include a condition survey of ther manuscrips and special collections, general stacks, maps and geneology collections.  We plan to hire a consultant to conduct this assessment.

What we are looking for right now are sample RFPs for hiring a consultant for this project.  If any of the list members have ever hired a consulant to conduct a this type of project  and used an RFP to solicite bids we would appreciate it very much if you would share this document with us.
