Ward as Conservation Manager for ECS Midwest, North Manchester, IN. Gerald has been a member of Etherington Conservation Services - NC since early 2005. He was awarded a Masters degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro concentrating in library administration and management. His education along with his training and hands-on experience made Gerald a qualified candidate for this position. In addition to his most recent conservation experience and completion of his masters, Gerald had prior experience as a rare book seller. Gerald will provide proper coordination, training, and good communications between departments as well as regional facilities. The additional training and development that Danielle and other staff will receive will provide equal expertise in our two conservation services locations. Gerald's work ethic and organizational skills will inspire confidence. Gerald is currently a member of the American Library Association, Association of College and Research Libraries and The American Institute for Conservation. Gerald was also a recipient of the Navy Cross, Silver Star and the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal. We look forward to having Gerald on staff at ECS Midwest and I am personally looking forward to working with Gerald and Danielle Creech as we build our conservation services and further the teamwork between operations in Indiana and North Carolina.
