Re: [padg] Post It Notes in archival collections

Just yesterday I pulled a 2-year-old Post-It from the plastic-coated cover of a recent edition of the college yearbook. It looks as though the adhesive reacted with the plastic and dulled the surface, although it's not sticky. I've noticed it takes several years for that to happen with certain papers.  Has anybody else noticed a plastic reaction?
