Subject: [alctsleaders] ALCTS E-forum Coordinator 

The ALCTS E-forum was initiated in May 2008 as a vehicle to discuss 
topics of interest in a focused manner for two-three days. The
discussion topics have ranged from professional development
opportunities in the current economic situation to disaster
preparedness. There are nearly 800 subscribers.

The success of the e-forum has led to the need to appoint an E-forum
Coordinator. The Coordinator will be responsible for soliciting topics
for discussion, identifying moderators, and scheduling the e-forums.
This individual will work closely with the ALCTS Executive Director,
Charles Wilt and the ALCTS President.

The appointment will be for one year from July 2009-June 2010. Since
this is an ALCTS appointment, interested volunteers need to be members
of ALCTS.

I'd be glad to answer any questions about the appointment.

Please send expressions of interest to me by Friday, May 29, 2009.
