            A word of caution and woe if you are making paste to let sit
on an item; it can stain! I either made paste too heavy or left it on too
long. Original stain was gone from doily but in its place a darkened spot
the exact shape of paste. And it didn't come out until I soaked it in PERK[
museum recommended] for what seemed an eternity.
           So heed Jennifer's advice about totally dissolving crystals and
check every so often.
