I'm not sure what has happened to copyright terms under the new "Mickey
Mouse Act"...and I know that the term of recording copyright (as opposed to
those of the composers/publishers of the songs involved, who fall under
compulsory license) is in question anyway, since recordings weren't
copyrighted (or copyrightable) as such under US law before 1972...but
up here in Canada anything recorded through December 31, 1952 is
now public domain as far as re-use. This would make much of the list
eligible for international reissue...
