I can't believe it!!!!!
I just cataloged that album for our Archives and it will be found in
the OCLC catalog. I also burned it onto CD for easy access with
miniaturized album graphics and full size label repros. I too had no
other clues as to the origin of those matrix numbers but I cataloged it
the best I could with the info I had in hand. I remember that show SO
WELL from when I was a little snot kuz my unmarried aunt and grandmother
who lived together would always listen to that show every blessed nite.
The mesmerizing part of that show is what we hear in the intro of each of
those album discs is THAT organ theme song. Just those first few notes
alone conjure memories of that W. 150th street house in Klevetown staying
over nite.

numbers - which I know little about, since most of our records are
transcription discs, not commercial discs. The numbers all include SUN -
and I'm hoping that this relates to the recording company. However, none
of
the books I have show this abbreviation.

This may be from the "Top Ten" label...a short-lived label which issued
radio artists in the immediate postwar era...
I'll forward your question to the 78-L list...
