Well, right after they changed the size of milk boxes (folks call the new
smaller
ones "metric" milk boxes, but the change was actually made so LP's would no
longer
fit in them, with hopes of cutting down the dairies' losses...) I stopped in
a variety store for a can of soda and noticed he had a bunch of the old
ones.
I asked him if he wanted them, and he said that he didn't...that the dairy
didn't want the bigger ones and he had a bunch he didn't know how to dispose
of...I could take the lot if I wanted them! It took two trips with my work
van (Rogers Cable) to get all 200-odd to my place...but these were the old
indestructible fiberglass milk boxes, so I was glad to get them!

So, three decades give or take and a change of location later, I'm still
using THOSE!
