Subject: American Theater Organ Society
Oregon State University has been contacted about obtaining "Historical
Instrument" status from the American Theater Organ Society for a 1927
Wurlitzer theater organ that was moved to the campus in 1961 from a
local movie theater.
We would appreciate information and insight from anyone familiar with
the American Theater Organ Society or its historic theater organ
preservation program, especially anyone with responsibility for an
instrument that has acquired this "historic" status.
