[PADG:1858] serials binding

I was just wondering if anyone has a system that actually lets their
binding unit know that it is time to bind a specific title. An example
might be that when acquisitions is checking in a serial issue the system
would tell them that there is now a bindable unit in the periodical
room-and acquisitions would let binding know....or any other ideas that
have found success?  Any chance that LINK Plus would have possibilities
in this area?

Also-if any of you are using SIRSE and doing your binding-I'd love to
talk to you-we're changing to SIRSE in January.
